Dear Sir/Madam
My name is George Adams,I for the last four years i have been working with Mentally Challenged young adults,running client sessions using drums and other percussion instruments,which has had a very positive effect ,in terms of getting the clients to come out of them selves and interact,the drums seem to have a magical effect on them,i also and repair and re skin all kinds of drums and musical instruments.
The purpose of this letter is to in enquirer if you happen to have any broken or damaged percussion instruments,particularly Djembes Drums that need to be reskined,that you would like to donate to this worthy cause,or alternatively ,i could pay some token amount and clear them off your hands,i could then repair them and use them in my client sessions with these young people.
I hope that my request will meet with a favorable response .

Let me introduce myself: I’m a principal percussionplayer with the The Hague Philharmonic Orchestra and the Metropole Orchestra (chiefconductor Vince Mendoza). Apart from that I’ve been playing African music for about 15 years whith my group Anumadutchi (helas we’re not as busy anymore as we used to be). I’ll be visiting San Francisco from august 11 till 15 and I was wondering where I could find a nice, easy to play shekere. I’ve been following Latin Percussion lessons for 2 years now with Nils Fisher (Cubop City Big Band, Timbazo) and besides playing conga’s I’me trying to learn the secrets of the Shekere. I’ve noticed on You Tube that you play them beautifully on beautiful instruments as well. So If you would happen to know a store in Frisco where I can try some and maybe buy one, that would be great.
