I am now selling world class, professional and very beautiful djembes with amazing sound! I have djembes in 13″ and 14″ sizes from Guinea, West Africa featuring cow skin. These drums look and sound fantastic, please check out the sound demos.

These drums are being designed by me to my exact specifications. I have a few in stock and also can get them with in about a 2 week time period once you order.

The cow skin drums have a beautiful rich tone and sharp slap. They are smooth and not too thick. Amazing and balanced sound and HUGE projection.

I can also get you your own custom made djembe with a choice of skin, size and of course carvings or no carvings. I understand most people love carvings however I prefer no carvings as i love to look at the natural grain of the wood.

I also personally prefer cow skin in my playing and also drum choice because of the longevity, you don’t have to tune often and there are so many less worries such as the skin being effected by humidity or climate. Goat skin sounds fantastic, too.

But, you do need to realize with goat skin the drum will need to be tuned often and you have to be very very careful with goat skin as it dos tend to pop in climate changes and for many other resins as well.

There are a variety of woods we have available including but not limited to Khadi (Hare), Lenke (lingue) and even exotic Cassia wood.

I have included some photos of current stock however the drums leave pretty fast so i can not say for sure what will be in stock as it constantly changes.

I Personally tune each drum when they arrive and i only receive one or two drums per order. Everything is custom order.

I will also film each drum so we can all check out the sound qualities as well which i find to be very helpful.
